One of the features of GEM's line of magnetometer products is that many systems can be upgraded as survey or sensitivity needs change.

This ability protects the value of your investment, enabling you, for example, to purchase a Proton Precession unit and then to upgrade it in future to an Overhauser model.

As well, GEM enables you to upgrade your system on a version-by-version basis. Version 5 systems can be enhanced, for instance, to the latest v6.0 firmware, software and hardware technology as required.

This capability enables you to take advantage of the latest innovations, such as enhanced sensitivity, internet upgrades, optional programmable base stations, etc. as they become available.
