GEM today announced the
launching of its new Blog for professionals working with magnetic technologies.
The Blog is essentially an online reference describing applications of
magnetometers and gradiometers in diverse fields -- ranging from resource
exploration to archaeology. “Blogging
is becoming increasingly popular as a means of communicating with customers and
web site visitors," stated Greg Hollyer, GEM's Communication Manager. "We're
here to act as a resource for our customers and this emerging media is an
exciting one. We anticipate that our customers and web visitors will learn about new approaches in magnetics
from the daily experiences of other professionals.”
GEM’s Blog can be accessed at

The Blog is described as a
regular posting of information and resources for the professional interested in
magnetometer, gradiometer and associated magnetic technologies, and is wholly
sponsored by GEM Advanced Magnetometers. Note that as this posting is of general
nature, topics may or may not represent GEM technologies.
GEM
Advanced Magnetometers delivers the only commercially-available magnetometers
and gradiometers with embedded GPS for high-sensitivity, accurately-positioned
ground surveys. The company’s products include high-sensitivity Overhauser,
very-high sensitivity optically pumped Potassium (K-Mag); and latest-technology
GSM-19T proton precession instruments. GEM is the global standard in mineral
exploration, near surface and observatory systems, and also delivers leading
airborne magnetometers. With a 23-year history of innovation in Research and
Development (R&D), the company is also known for professional sales and service.
