For simple applications, customers may be interested in the GSM-8 (Proton Precession) systems. These are basic instruments (i.e. without any memory) for calibration of fluxgate magnetometers or for simple magnetic reconnaissance programs.
For more advanced applications, GEM recommends that customers consider the GSM-19T Proton Precession or GSM-19 Overhauser systems as modern and cost-effective evolutions of the GSM-8.
For details on Proton and Overhauser technologies, you may want to review the technical papers on this site. Brochures for the GSM-8 is also available. For information on more advanced technologies, please refer to the Proton Precession and Overhauser product pages.
