GEM Systems AirGRAD Takes off!
We have made a flight test for our latest product: The AirGRAD. The video shows take off, flight, and landing of the UAV gradiometer. We are happy to announce that this first test was a success! The AirGRAD is a lightweight vertical gradiometer designed for use with UAV systems. At a weight of 6.0 kg, the turnkey gradiometer solution includes two high sensitivity ultra light weight magnetometers, plus all of the components required for precise UAV mag surveys. New GEMLink 5.4 available with integration to Google Earth
The new GEMLink features in V5.4 include functions “Waypoint Plan” and “Waypoint Tracking”. “Waypoint Plan” is used to automatically generate survey points by the quick polygon drawing function. Details of this function will be described in the GEMLink user manual. “Waypoint Tracking” will track your position and check that each waypoint is reached during the survey. It will also graph mag data in real time. We are proud to announce that GEM Systems is a member of AUVSI. As members of an evolving UAV community, we have developed new ultra lightweight magnetometer sensors for the mineral exploration industry and have a fleet of platforms from which to fly unmanned surveys. Our featured products include the AirBIRD, a single sensor potassium magnetometer system, towed by the GEM Hawk helicopter. We will be attending the AUVSI XPONENTIAL 2017 conference in Dallas from May 8th to May 11th, 2017 and we encourage you to reach out to us if you are interested in our UAV technologies.
